“It has become a cliche to call someone a dynamic speaker, but the term is certainly fitting for Fr. Peter Preble.  He is a powerful, challenging, informative and inspirational speaker who can make any topic easily understandable and engaging.” ~ Fr. Gregory Nicholas Christakos Pastor,  Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church ~ Marlboro, Massachusetts

 A Little About Me

I am available to speak at all sorts of events: colleges, conferences, churches, fundraisers and banquets. No audience is too largeFr Peter Preble or too small. Possible topics include Leadership, Ethics, Social Justice, Celtic Spirituality, American Church History, Crisis Ministry, Ministry and the New Media, and much more.

I recently published a new book by Regina Orthodox Press: Listening to the Heartbeat of God.  This book is about having a conversation with God, a divine and holy experience that all Christians are called to enjoy. I try and weave together the Orthodox monastic and Celtic traditions of Spirituality. This book is designed as a “beginners guide” to prayer but with a catch—we are all beginners as we come to God. So there is something true and good here for the youngest child or the oldest holy monk or nun and for each person who desires to pray.

I am an Orthodox Priest and host of the nationally syndicated radio program Shepherd of Souls.  In addition to my pastoral duties I serve as Chaplain with Brookhaven Hospice, the Massachusetts Organized Militia and as Fire Chaplain for the Dudley Fire Department in Dudley, Massachusetts.  I served on the faculty at Quincy College in Quincy, Massachusetts as well as Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts where I taught in the fields of Psychology and Ethics.

At the present time my Speaking Calendar is being handled by the Orthodox Speakers Bureau.  If you would like more information on having me speak at your event or to check on my availability contact me or the OSB.
