The United Nations had a big meeting the other day on the Millennium Development Goals. I think these are great but I wonder if it is the responsibility of the Church to be involved.
I agree with Huw and his discussion of the issue. Check out what he has to say and I say ditto.
If we Christians behaved as Christians and did what the Gospel says, there would be no need for Millennium Development Goals. Alas, the history of Christianity hasn’t matched up well with putting the Gospel into practice, by and large.
